HMH Curriculum

South Summit School District is excited to announce the pilot of the HMH Into Reading Program, and we invite our parents and guardians to be an active part of this evaluation process. Your insight is invaluable as we select the highest quality literacy resources for our students. The HMH Into Reading Program is a research-based, k–5 program, founded on the science of reading. Teachers and students, over the past several months, have enjoyed the variety and engagement of the rigorous curriculum of the program. Physical materials and digital previews will be available for public viewing at the District Office (285 East 400 Street, Kamas) from March 23, 2026, to April 10, 2026.

To learn more about the program’s research-based approach to literacy, please visit the South Summit School District or visit the HMH website to explore the HMH Into Reading digital suite directly. We sincerely welcome your feedback and input. If you have comments, questions, or concerns about the content of the HMH Into Reading Program, you are welcome to sign up for public comment at the board meetings on Monday, April 13 or on Monday, May 11, 2026. The board will take action on adopting the HMH Into Reading Program at the May 11 board meeting.
